"As an avid reader, I was eager to finish this enchanting and thought provoking novel. I cared for the young woman who learned from painful mistakes in judgement. Set in Israel, this is a sensitive description of the loss of a parent, betrayal of a first love and the support of her family."

- Beverly Victor

"I absolutely loved this book! It was a great read that always kept my attention and I never wanted to put the book down! I would highly recommend reading it."

"I love a book with a great twist and this one really delivers! Chronicling a little known time in Israel's history, Sery weaves a love story that is both tender and dangerous. Exotic settings, vivid descriptions (down to the street names) and interesting characters all make for one terrific read. I couldn't put it down and look forward to the next book by this author."
